Our story

Lansen provides innovation-driven wireless open functions for measuring, monitoring and control of buildings. Developed, designed and manufactured by engineers in Sweden.

We are here to future-proof the communities of tomorrow by providing reliable and innovative open standard wireless products of highest quality and superior battery life - with usability, the environment and living quality in mind. We offer products within our own brand as well as customized OEM products, to customers globally.

Our wireless, ultra-low power innovations connect buildings, collects and transfer a true picture of the reality to make it easy for our customers to make good business decisions. Based on the collected data our customers can control, steer, monitor, optimize building energy usage, improve air quality or connect to AI-platforms - in order to save energy, save cost and improve living quality.

Products include meters, temperature sensors, environmental sensors, door/window sensors, smoke detectors, leakage detectors and infrastructure products like repeaters, gateways and range extenders.

All products are built on independent open standard protocols such as Wireless M-Bus/OMS and mioty. We are easy to work with and our Innovation platform approach makes it easy to adapt and add functions according to the customer’s specific needs.

Innovating the market since 2004

Our innovation platform goes back to 2004 when we were developing high-quality security systems. As an innovator in wireless alarms, most of our efforts was developed in two technology areas:

Security - to enable identification of disturbances and secure data flows.

Power efficiency - to transmit a lot of data (climate, visual) on high- and low bandwidth, while using ultra low power usage. Want to know more about why our innovation approach matters?

Lansen strives for technological leadership in selected fields of technology which are of crucial importance for us and our customers. At Lansen we see three major trends: Wireless metering, Open standards and Connected technology. Each of these trends affect the usage of energy and control of buildings, and together they will radically change the digitalization of properties.

    Open Metering System (OMS) is the main fundament on the market. We strongly believe that an open, vendor independent standard for meter communication based on the Wireless M-Bus protocol is the way forward.
